  We really like this place. Have eaten here twice on our cross country journeys. We avoid chains as much as possible. Small towns can sometimes be a crapshoot. For the small town of Mudro where the choices were very limited I'm giving this place 5 stars. That's my perspective. I'm from Seattle and 5 stars there is not 5 stars in Mudro SD where there are maybe two choices. I don't think it's fair to compare the two areas the same.
  The food here is good! They had a small but great little salad bar, with homemade soup. Good menu choices with specials. I had a ribeye steak that was really good (and I'm pretty particular) tender, flavorful with mashed potatoes and gravy. The thing that makes places like this special is the small town feel with friendly locals serving and eating here.

  The dinners come with: all you can eat soup and salad bar, (which were both great) choice of potato, dinner roll and a scoop of ice cream. I got the 4 piece fried chicken which was great and about $17. Good service!
